This presentation will focus on the benefits of academic-practice partnerships for developing programs that immerse undergraduate student nurses in the field of radiology. The Radiology Immersion Experience (RIE) and its phased-in, leveled approach will be explained. Standardized testing scores of students participating in Phase I of the RIE and implications for education and practice will be discussed.
