Dr. Spilland is a certified lecturer on High Reliability on Health Care as part of the program initiated and overseen by Hartford Hospital, and the Connecticut Hospital Association, he began this role in October 2013. He is also a board certified radiologist with a CAQ in Interventional Radiology.
He has 17 years of private practice experience. Dr. Spillane currently serves as the Physician Chief Quality Office for Jefferson Radiology and is the Chair of the Medical Staff Quality Council at Hartford Hospital. He is a member of the National Ambulatory Care Advisory Board for the Joint Commission and has lectured on high reliability since October 2013.
