This presentation will provide up-to-date information on the treatment of subarachnoid hemorrhage as a result of ruptured intracerebral aneurysms. The emphasis of this lecture will be a study of the history of aneurysmal treatment. Attendees will gain knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology using mnemonics, humor and case presentations. The participants will concentrate on assessment, diagnostic evaluation and management of the complete range of intracerebral aneurysms. Review of the nursing care of patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage in the interventional suite from coiling to vasospasm treatment. Jan has been a speaker at numerous seminars, sharing a passion for nursing. She has an extensive background in Neuro
Radiology and Neurosurgical Intensive Care.

Jan develops and coordinates the education for the Neuro Medical Surgical Unit and the Neuro Intensive Care for both novice and experienced nurses. Along with a positive attitude and an ability to assist those at the bedside, Jan motivates nurses from all areas to provide their best care. In her spare time, she & her husband have a farm.
